11 August 2016 — Philippine Ambassador to the Russian Federation Carlos D. Sorreta met with Professor Fyodor Lukyanov, Editor-in-Chief of the “Russia in Global Affairs” magazine at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow on 09 August 2016.

Ambassador Sorreta and Professor Lukyanov exchanged views on Russia-West relations, the situation in Ukraine and Syria, and Russia’s Asian policy.

Prof. Lukyanov is one of Russia’s most prominent foreign policy experts. He is the Chairman of the Council for Foreign and Defense Policy, member of the Russian International Affairs Council, Scientific Director of the Valdai Discussion Club, and member of the Expert Council of the Center for Policy Research.
