Guidelines on the Entry of Temporary Visitors to the Philippines

Effective 01 August 2013, Russian nationals who are traveling to the Philippines for business and tourism purposes are allowed to enter the Philippines without visas for a stay not exceeding thirty (30) days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey to port of origin or next port of destination and their passports valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TEMPORARY VISA:

·         Personal appearance at the Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy (see note below).

·         Duly accomplished visa application form (available in this website or at the Embassy)

·         Original passport valid for at least six (6) months prior to intended dates of travel to the Philippines, and photocopy of passport data page

·         One recent I.D. picture (4.5. cm x 3.5 cm)

·         Letter of invitation/guarantee from a Philippine national/company regarding the visit/travel to the Philippines

·         Copy of passport of inviting person (in case of personal invitation)

·         Copy of confirmed Airline/Hotel/Tour booking in the Philippines.

·         For Seamen, copy of data pages of Seaman’s Book

Note: For applicants from Russia, Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, in lieu of personal appearance, special power of attorney in favor of an accredited tour operator. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CONSULAR SECTION WILL NOT PROCESS INCOMPLETE OR IMPROPERLY ACCOMPLISHED FORMS FOR VISA APPLICATIONS

SCHEDULE OF FILING AND RELEASING

1.    Consular Hours:

- Filing of visa applications and releasing of visas: Monday to Friday (9:00 am - 3:00 pm)

2.    Processing time for applicants from the day all required documents are submitted:

a.    Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan : three (3) working days

b.    Other Countries : seven (7) working days

3.    Applicants will be advised as to the date of release of their visas after submission of all required documents and payment of the visa fees.

SCHEDULE OF VISA FEES (NON-REFUNDABLE):

·         Single Entry

Ø  valid for 3 months: US$40

·         Multiple Entry

Ø  valid for 6 months: US$80

Ø  valid for 1 year (prior approval from DFA Manila is required): US$120

·         Seaman / Aircrew Members: US$20

·         Transit

Ø  single-entry valid for 3 months: US$40
