13 April 2016 –The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) headed by Dr. Ruperto S. Sangalang, CHED Commissioner, represented the Philippines at the Asia-Europe Meeting Intermediate Senior Officials’ Meeting (ISOM) on Education held on at the Holiday Inn Hotel and VDNKh (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy) in Moscow on 13-14 April 2016.

During the meeting, the Philippines gave a well-received report on higher education mobility and quality assurance.

The Philippine delegation was headed by Commissioner Sangalang. He was accompanied by Engr. Ronaldo A. Liveta, Director of the Office of Student Development and Services,and Ms. Joy Christine Bacwaden, Chief of the Office of the International Affairs.

The meeting was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. END
