15 May 2015 - The Filipino Association in Russia (FAR), in partnership with the Philippine Embassy in Moscow, held a donation drive on May 10 for the victims of the quake in Nepal.

As one of the most disaster prone areas in the world and recipients of international aids, this time, the Philippines wishes to give back and provide assistance to the people of Nepal and to those in need during these times of calamities.

The donations (clothes, blankets, food, etc.) were turned over by the joint FAR-Embassy to the Nepalese Students Association of the People’s Friendship University of Russia. The collected donations from different organizations and embassies in Moscow will be turned over to the Nepalese Embassy in Moscow. END
