25 May 2015, MOSCOW - H.E. Carlos D. Sorreta presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Russian Federation to H.E. Igor V. Morgulov, Deputy Foreign Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Noting that the Philippines and Russia will celebrate a special milestone next year - the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two officials agreed on the need to strengthen cooperation in order to realize the full potential of Philippines-Russian Federation bilateral ties.
Also present in the meeting was Director Liudmila G. Vorobiova of the Third Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. - END -
