04 November 2016 — The efforts of the Philippine Embassy in Moscow to promote Philippine products and services as well as tourist destinations were featured in the third quarter issue of CAPITAL IDEAS magazine.
In the interview published by CAPITAL IDEAS, Philippine Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Carlos D. Sorreta talked about the recently-held Philippine Street Festival and that he hopes that this will be a regular occurrence. Ambassador Sorreta also discussed the importance of building closer people-to-people ties which can then lead to deep economic and cultural relations. He also credited the Moscow City Government for its enthusiasm and support, without which the project would not have been possible.
The magazine article also included photos of the Philippine Embassy Cultural Performing Group dancing the Pandanngo sa Ilaw and Banga.
CAPITAL IDEAS is the official magazine of the Department of International and Economic Cooperation of Moscow City which focuses on strategies for business in Moscow. It is widely read by Moscow’s business and diplomatic community. It has a hard copy circulation of over 7,000 and is also published on the web.
