17 December 2015 – Filipino professional boxers, Rey Las Piñas and Ryan Sermona, participated in the “Fight for the Future” promotional boxing show held at the Artists Club in Moscow, Russia on 12 December 2015.

Mr. Ryan Sermona faced off with Mr. Manuel Sargsyan in the Eurasia Pacific Boxing Council (EPBC) Super Lightweight title match, while Mr. Rey Las Piñas fought against Mr. Vane Sarukhanyan for the EPBC Lightweight title.

Mr. Sargsyan and Mr. Sarukhanyan of Russia won the EPBC titles over the Philippines via Technical Knock Out (TKO) and Unanimous Decision (UD), respectively.

The Philippine Embassy in Moscow, headed by Ambassador Carlos D. Sorreta, attended the event to support the Filipino boxers.

The promotional show was organized by the Punch Boxing Promotions and Rocky Road Team of Russia. END
