10 June 2015, MOSCOW – Philippine Ambassador to the Russian Federation H.E. Carlos D. Sorreta, together with fellow ASEAN Ambassadors from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore visited the DEGA Industrial Park in the town of Noginsk, 50 kilometers east of Moscow. The visit was organized by the ASEAN Moscow Committee with the cooperation of the Russia-ASEAN Business Council and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Also present were officials from the Embassies of Thailand and Laos.

Mr. Alexander Ivanov, Special Envoy for ASEAN of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Victor Tarusin, President of the Russia-ASEAN Business Council, accompanied the Ambassadors as they toured the facilities of DEGA Industrial Park as well as the factories of its residents such as German window maker Roto Frank AG and Swedish cosmetics giant Oriflame. 

The DEGA Group is a Swiss developer of privately-owned industrial parks that provides turnkey solutions for its residents, including specialty construction and provision of utilities. The company is currently operating four industrial parks in Russia. END
