24 March 2014 – The Philippines participates in the 21st Moscow International Travel and Tourism (MITT) exhibition from March 19 to 22 in Moscow, Russia, as part of the Department of Tourism’s ongoing marketing campaign in Russia. The Philippine delegation, led by Mr. Raymund Glen Agustin of the DOT Market Development Group, is composed of 13 domestic travel and tour operators as well as hotels and resorts representatives.
Philippine Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Alejandro B. Mosquera hosted a welcome reception for the Philippine delegation on March 19 at the Ambassador’s Residence in Moscow. Also in attendance were Russian travel and tour operators.
The MITT is an annual tourism exhibition in Moscow and one of the top five travel exhibitions in the world. This year’s event is participated in by 198 countries from different regions. END
