23 April 2015 - The Ambassadors of ASEAN member states in Moscow formally welcomed Philippine Ambassador-designate to the Russian Federation Carlos D. Sorreta during the 2nd Meeting of the ASEAN Moscow Committee (AMC) under the Chairmanship of Brunei Darussalam.
The AMC is composed of the Ambassadors of the ten ASEAN member countries in Moscow and serves as the outpost of ASEAN in the host country with the mandate to promote the grouping’s interests and identity. It regularly convenes to exchange views on developments in ASEAN-Russia relations and pursue common projects aimed at promoting various aspects of ASEAN’s dialogue partnership with Russia. END
